LIANZA Conference 2008: Poropitia Outside the Box

2 – 5 November 2008, SkyCity Auckland Convention Centre, Auckland, New Zealand

LIANZA’s annual conference is the largest gathering of library and information professionals in New Zealand, and one of the largest in Australasia. The 2008 Conference anticipates up to 800 librarians, library managers, local authority managers and representatives from both the business and educational sector will attend.

The theme for LIANZA Conference 2008 is Poropitia Outside the Box. This refers to the shifting nature of what we do and the world we work in. We have to ensure that we are developing and growing with the communities we serve. We plan to deliver you a conference with a difference – one which will challenge you, change you, and help you change libraries.
