IT-SIG Webinar Series - Session 3 - (Super Index)^? and Skylight - a new use for our repository infrastructure

Following the success of its June-July webinars IT-SIG (Information Technology Special Interest Group) is holding a second series in October 2011.

The sessions are open to anyone but priority will be given to IT-SIG members.

These are informal online sessions with limited numbers of participants where presenters will share their computer screens and talk about the work they are doing. Participants can ask questions, and demonstrate related processes on their own computers if there is time. Sessions will be recorded and made accessible on the Web for anyone with the right password.

You will need to download some client software and have a microphone and video camera set up to take an active part in the session. If you download the client software you can watch, listen and type in questions. Otherwise you can watch via a webcast facility, or download a recording.

If you would like to attend one of these sessions please complete the form at the bottom of this message and email it to j.laurie@auckland.ac.nz by 4 pm on Monday 3rd October. Sessions are limited to 20 people.

You will receive an email confirming your registration by Wednesday 5th October, with a login website, a meeting ID, a meeting PIN, and a link to a place to download the client software. The download takes only a couple of minutes, and can be done at any time before the meeting.
