Since the last AGM — indeed, since the end of the 2002/03 financial year — these things have changed:
- We’ve lodged a copy of the IRD letter confirming LIANZA’s/our non-profit status with our bank. This means we’re no longer charged monthly bank fees, and once this was done we received a refund of monthly account fees for the time since the date of the letter. ($25.75 received.)
- We’re no longer getting free audioconferencing through Victoria University of Wellington, so we’re having to pay for committee meetings. (So far we’ve paid $42.19, with another audioconference outstanding.)
- We’re supporting this wiki for LIANZA, and paying the monthly hosting charges. ($84.38 for initial three months’ hosting.)
- We’re sponsoring an IT-SIG member to attend next year’s VALA conference. ($1000.)
- We expect a GST refund from LIANZA. (We’ve so far claimed $14.06.)
