Comments
- The grant from LIANZA is significantly down on the figure for 2004 and only half the $1413.31 of 2003. This appears to indicate a rapidly declining membership.
- A large proportion of the funds accumulated over the last five years was spent on sponsoring David Seaman’s attendance at the 2004 LIANZA conference and Ruth Lewis’s (Landcare Research librarian) attendance at the Information Online Conference in Sydney.
- The figure of $158.70 for audioconference charges relates to one committee meeting only. We have since attempted to cut costs by sharing phones.
- Digiweb hosting is expensive. It may be possible to put this information on the LIANZA website.
- The balance at bank of $2392.98 remains a healthy surplus for the group.
