Comments
- The balance at bank of 2106.09 remains a healthy surplus for the group, representing more than 2 years of income.
- The grant from LIANZA is up again on the figure for 2004 but still not as much as the $1413.31 of 2003. Membership has increased again. The list of members received from Anna O’Keeffe on 4th July, 2006 shows 5 institutional members and 106 personal members as of July 1st, 2006
- The VALA sponsorship was reduced from $1000 in 2005 to $750 in 2006 in view of the declining bank balance.
- As of 2006 previous requirement of LIANZA (SI Gs)? and Regions to have their annual accounts audited was dispensed with. Instead LIANZA SIG and Regional Treasurers now only have to present their annual accounts to the LIANZA Treasurer – Steve Graves of Kendons – by providing a simple Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- The above Profit and Loss Account and Balance sheet were sent to Steve Graves at the end of July.
